Provides the data foundation for Hard and Soft Service Managers to verify KPIs and KRIs.
Responsibilities and authority
- Audit CAFM data models, asset registers, hierarchies, and coding against approved asset lists and standards.
- Review work-order classification, priority, timestamps, closure evidence, and closure-gate controls; test ticket integrity.
- Monitor dataset completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and duplication; check system interfaces, APIs, scheduled exchanges, and record failures or workarounds.
- Review user permissions and audit trails; prepare system-based audit, committee, and benchmarking evidence.
- Recommend and track data cleansing, user training, and configuration corrective actions.
- May log issues and request vendor or provider extracts, logs, and configuration details.
- May not change production configuration, bypass change control, or alter KPI values without traceable evidence and management agreement.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Hands-on CAFM, EAM, or CMMS platform experience in a client, consultant, or service-provider role.
- Knowledge of facilities-management processes, asset hierarchies, and preventive maintenance schedules in CAFM.
- Knowledge of integration concepts, system logs, and query tools; advanced Excel or similar for data profiling and validation.
- ITIL Foundation, vendor-specific CAFM or Building X training, or data-management or analytics qualifications are desirable.

- Methodical and detail-oriented in testing and verification; follows issues through to root cause.
- Explains system findings simply and maintains an independent stance with vendors and providers.
Measures of success
High-priority data-quality issues resolved within agreed time frames; fewer repeated data errors and closure-gate failures.
Fewer failed or delayed integrations; available, high-quality system evidence for audits and committees; useful systems guidance according to users.
Pay
- QAR 5,000–6,000 per month.
