Cable Installer- Data Center

Data Center Installer with experience in installing, decommissioning, and maintaining network and cabling infrastructure within data center environments. Skilled in installing network cabinets, fiber and copper cabling, cable pathways, and performing connectivity testing and troubleshooting. Proficient in reading blueprints, port maps, and technical documentation to support accurate infrastructure deployments. Committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and data center cleanliness while collaborating effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. Strong ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced technical environments

4 years’ experience working within a data com environment.

3 years of in-depth knowledge of network cabling, optic types.

3 years’ experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.

3 years’ experience troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.

Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.

Must have experience working in data centers, telco, IT operations, or related technical field.

Any server, OS, Network, or data center certification (including in-progress) are a plus.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Must be a professional, accurate, urgent and provide quality.

Ability to work alone or in teams with minimal instruction.
