Role overview

Cabin crew represent Emirates and support customers with help and direction during flights.

Safety is the highest priority; crew manage aircraft services, security, and safety procedures.

Crew receive training at Emirates' facility in Dubai and are based in Dubai.

Qualifications and experience

  • More than one year of hospitality or customer-service experience.
  • At least a high school qualification (Grade 12).
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Able to provide excellent service in a team and deal with people from many cultures.
  • Solution-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage a demanding work schedule.
  • Must be at least 160 cm tall and able to reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes.
  • No visible tattoos while wearing the Emirates cabin crew uniform; covering them with bandages or cosmetics is not permitted.
  • Must meet UAE employment visa requirements.

Role expectations

  • Provide customers with help and direction while they fly.
  • Manage aircraft services and take control of safety and security procedures.
  • Deliver an authentic customer experience and perform to high standards.

Pay

  • Basic salary is AED 4,980 per month.
  • Flying pay is AED 69.60 per hour, based on an average of 80–100 hours per month.
  • Average total pay is AED 11,244 per month; figures are approximate for Grade II (Economy Class).
  • Overseas meal allowances for night stops are credited to salary in arrears the following month.
