Who we are

Ventós Group is an international company specialized in the distribution of Essential Oils and Aroma Chemicals for the Flavors & Fragrances industry, with headquarters located in Barcelona, Spain.

As part of our international expansion, Ventós is strengthening its presence in the Middle East region through Ventós Dubai, a new strategic hub that will support the development of our business across the region.

To support the establishment and growth of this new subsidiary, we are looking for an Business Operations Manager who will play a key role in building the operational foundations of the company while supporting customer management and commercial activities.

The Role

This position will play a key role in the setup and development of Ventós Dubai , ensuring that the subsidiary operates efficiently from an operational, purchasing and customer support perspective.

The position will work in close collaboration with the Headquarters in Barcelona and other Ventós subsidiaries worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the establishment and development of Ventós Dubai operations, implementing operational processes aligned with group standards.
• Manage and coordinate purchasing activities for the Dubai subsidiary, ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained locally.
• Monitor inventory levels and work closely with headquarters to guarantee product availability and optimize stock planning.
• Support the operational coordination of logistics, import/export and order processing.
• Support and progressively develop relationships with local customers, assisting with inquiries, product information, documentation and order follow-up while identifying potential business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the headquarters sales team in managing and developing customer relationships in the region, supporting commercial initiatives and market development.
• Contribute to the identification of new business opportunities and support the development of the commercial activity of the Dubai subsidiary.
• Contribute to the development of operational procedures and purchasing processes as the Dubai subsidiary grows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management, Chemistry or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in operations, purchasing, supply chain or commercial roles.
• Experience in B2B environments, ideally within chemicals, ingredients, flavors & fragrances or related industries, will be positively valued.
• Experience managing purchasing processes and inventory planning.
• Good understanding of international logistics and import/export processes.
• High level of English (spoken and written). Knowledge of Arabic or Spanish will be considered an advantage.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in an international environment.
