Business Intelligence Analyst I

Role overview

What you’ll do

• Analyze fulfillment and operational performance trends, gaps, and opportunities.
• Write and maintain SQL queries and datasets for reporting and operational questions.
• Build and maintain dashboards in Tableau or comparable BI tools.
• Gather requirements and document business logic with partner teams.
• Validate and reconcile data; document assumptions and escalate inconsistencies.
• Support business reviews, experiments, and improvement initiatives with reporting and measurement.
• Document analytical work and participate in peer reviews.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent working experience.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience, including applied academic or internship experience.
• Foundational SQL, data-analysis experience, visualization-tool familiarity, and spreadsheet knowledge.
• Ability to organize work, communicate findings, follow processes, and raise unclear requirements or data issues.

Bonus experience

• Fulfillment, supply chain, logistics, retail operations, or other process-driven networks.
• dbt or another governed SQL transformation framework; Python or R.
• Operational experiments, forecasting, capacity or labor planning, or continuous improvement.

Compensation

• Base salary range is $57,000–$85,500 per year; the offered amount may depend on experience, education, and work location.
• The role is eligible for 401(k) and new-hire and annual equity grants; some positions may also be eligible for an annual bonus.
