Business Development Manager

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in institutional sales within a trading or crypto environment, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • Deep experience selling complex financial products to institutional clients from OTC and prime brokerage to custody and API solutions
  • Proven track record of selling to and managing relationships on/off ramp’s, PSP, EMI, MSB, Payment gateways at a senior level
  • Strong, established rolodex of institutional relationships across EMEA, spanning on/off ramp’s, PSP, EMI, MSB, Payment gateways
  • Comprehensive understanding of cryptocurrency regulations across EMEA markets and the ability to navigate evolving regulatory landscapes
  • A collaborative mindset with a genuine belief that team success drives individual success
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally across the EMEA region up to 30% of the time to meet clients, attend industry events, and drive business development opportunities.
  • Passion for the crypto industry and a commitment to continuous learning

Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver $200K+ monthly revenue target through closing high-value enterprise deals
  • Build and manage a self-generated outbound pipeline (no reliance on inbound leads)
  • Execute full sales cycle (2–6 months): prospecting → qualification → negotiation → closing
  • Acquire and grow clients across key segments: PSP, EMI, brokers, neobanks, payment providers, VASP/MSB
  • Develop and scale strategic partnerships and referral channels to drive new business
  • Navigate complex multi-stakeholder sales processes (Finance, Compliance, C-level, Board)
  • Drive clients through KYB, onboarding, and go-live, ensuring fast revenue activation
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting in Salesforce
  • Collaborate with Product, Legal/Compliance, and Customer Success to execute deals end-to-end
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings across EMEA
