About This Role
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager – Business Development for our freight forwarding division in Abu Dhabi.
The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets within the logistics and freight forwarding sector.
Key Responsibilities
- **Develop and implement business development strategies to increase revenue.**
- **Identify and generate new leads in freight forwarding and logistics services.**
- **Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.**
- **Promote air freight, sea freight, land transportation, and logistics solutions.**
- **Prepare sales reports, quotations, and client proposals.**
- **Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.**
- **Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.**
- **Monitor market trends and competitor activities.**
- **Attend client meetings and business networking events.**
Requirements
- **4 to 6 years of experience in freight forwarding sales/business development.**
- **Strong knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics operations.**
- **Proven track record in achieving sales targets.**
- **Excellent communication and negotiation skills.**
- **Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.**
- **Abu Dhabi market knowledge is must**
Qualification
- **Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.**
