Business Development Manager – Freight Forwarding background only
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager with a strong background in Freight Forwarding to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate must possess solid industry knowledge, an established customer network, and a proven track record in generating new business opportunities across air, sea, and land freight services.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics industry
- Strong expertise in Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Supply Chain solutions
- Proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
- Experience in acquiring new business and achieving sales targets
- Strong understanding of international shipping procedures, pricing, and market trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and drive revenue growth
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the freight forwarding sector
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners
- Prepare competitive quotations and logistics solutions for customers
- Coordinate with operations and pricing teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Represent the company professionally in client meetings and industry events
Preferred Profile
- Candidate with an existing client portfolio/network will be an added advantage
- Strong commercial mindset with customer-focused approach
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and proactive
- Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
