Business development manager role focused on furniture and furniture accessories in the Qatar market.
The position is full time and requires in-person work.
Responsibilities
- Find new business opportunities, generate leads, acquire customers, and convert opportunities into sales.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets; maintain a sales pipeline and report performance.
- Build client relationships across contractor, design, consulting, development, retail, and corporate sectors.
- Promote furniture, fittings, hardware, and accessories, and manage B2B, project, commercial, residential, and hospitality sales.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations; prepare quotations, proposals, pricing, and commercial offers.
- Identify projects and secure contracts and partnerships; monitor market trends, competitors, pricing, and customer needs.
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, and delivery teams to support customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- At least 3–4 years of business development and sales experience in furniture and furniture accessories.
- Strong product knowledge and understanding of Qatar's furniture market, customer needs, and industry trends.
- Proven record of new business generation, client acquisition, and sales target achievement.
- B2B sales, project sales, and corporate client acquisition experience.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, closing, customer relationship, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage the sales cycle independently and work to targets.
- Valid Qatar driving license is mandatory.
- An established local client network and current Qatar residence with relevant market experience are preferred.
