Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Intern role based in Dubai.

The intern will support the sales and business development team in identifying new business opportunities, researching target markets, and assisting with lead generation activities.

Daily tasks include conducting market research, maintaining and updating customer databases, preparing sales presentations and basic proposals, and following up on inquiries under supervision.

The role also involves supporting customer communication, coordinating with internal teams to gather product and pricing information, and contributing to reports on sales performance and business trends.

The intern will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining practical exposure to B2B sales in the industrial valve sector and learning how to build and maintain customer relationships.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data and business information.
  • Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication in a professional setting.
  • Ability to support lead generation efforts, including identifying prospects and maintaining lead lists.
  • Experience or coursework in market research, with the ability to gather and summarize relevant industry information.
  • Customer service mindset, with an interest in understanding and responding to client needs.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks on-site.
  • Interest in industrial products or manufacturing; prior exposure to B2B or technical sales is a plus.
  • Eligibility and willingness to work full time on-site in Dubai.
