Position purpose

The Business Development Executive is part of the regional MENA team and is responsible for driving sold revenue through new client relationships, strategic partnerships, and targeted business development.

The role develops and converts commercial opportunities, translates client needs into solutions, and supports revenue growth, pipeline health, and long-term commercial success.

Revenue and commercial performance

  • Achieve or exceed individual annual sold revenue targets and partner with regional leadership and internal teams on broader revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with MENA senior leadership to forecast annual revenue and define execution strategies.
  • Own opportunities from origination through qualification, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Apply commercial judgment across relationships, pricing, terms, and negotiation strategy.

Client relationships

  • Build and sustain relationships with client decision-makers, influencers, and senior stakeholders across MENA.
  • Understand client priorities, challenges, decision dynamics, and buying signals; use client cues to guide commercial conversations.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and support NPS and CSAT targets.

Business development and pipeline

  • Maintain a qualified pipeline with 3–4x coverage of assigned quota and generate opportunities through self-sourcing, referrals, partnerships, and internal collaboration.
  • Pursue new client opportunities aligned with MENA growth priorities and maintain accurate pipeline, opportunity, next-step, and forecast information.
  • Assess pipeline quality, conversion likelihood, and actions to improve win rates.

Governance and coordination

  • Coordinate MENA business development activity so client opportunities, pipeline activity, RFPs, and internal priorities are visible and actively managed.
  • Lead regular internal reviews with regional leadership, conductors, delivery teams, operations, legal, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain pipeline dashboards covering opportunities, RFPs, client priorities, deadlines, ownership, and internal support needs.
  • Manage RFP intake, qualification, and prioritization; lead go/no-go discussions based on strategic fit, revenue potential, win likelihood, delivery capacity, timing, risk, and resources.
  • Confirm delivery capability, resource availability, project risk, and operational readiness with conductors and business unit leads before client submissions or proposals.
  • Define roles, ownership, decision paths, and support responsibilities across internal teams.

Requirements

  • Drive sold revenue through new client relationships, strategic partnerships, and targeted business development activity in the MENA region.
  • Build trusted relationships with decision-makers, influencers, partners, and senior client stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen, including understanding how relationships, pricing, terms, and negotiation strategy support commercial goals.
  • Maintain a qualified pipeline with 3–4x coverage of assigned quota.
  • Coordinate effectively with regional leadership and internal delivery, operations, legal, finance, and other stakeholders.
