The Business Development Executive sells the Middle East and Africa construction projects database to the construction industry.
The role is responsible for meeting or exceeding an assigned quota within a target market.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand Ventures Onsite’s market presence.
- Develop strategies to target potential clients and partners.
- Conduct market research on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets and drive growth.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams.
- Track and report business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior management.
Qualifications
- At least three years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Experience in construction or infrastructure sectors is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with a record of achieving sales targets.
- Deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes, and client needs in construction and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other business tools.
- Familiarity with project management and industry-specific software is advantageous.
