Role overview

Management reporting and analysis

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, costs, profitability, cash flow, inventory, purchases, and departmental performance.
• Agree KPIs with department heads and build dashboards for senior management.
• Deliver reports on a fixed calendar and check figures against source systems.
• Analyse trends, variances, and exceptions and explain causes in plain language.
• Present findings with recommendations and expected costs or savings.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis for pricing, profitability, cost control, staffing, and investment decisions.
• Analyse revenue, costs, and profitability by product, customer, and department.

Forecasting and data automation

• Build sales, cost, cash flow, and inventory forecasts using historical data and business plans.
• Support annual budget projections and model scenarios such as price changes, cost increases, volume growth, or investments.
• Track forecasts against actual results monthly and improve models.
• Automate recurring reports and combine ERP and departmental spreadsheet data.
• Identify and correct data errors and work with EDP to resolve source issues.
• Document each report's data source, logic, owner, and frequency.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, statistics, supply chain, computer science, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years in a business analyst, MIS analyst, or FP&A role.
• Proven record of building management reports and forecasts used by senior management.
• Cross-functional reporting experience is preferred; UAE or GCC experience is preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Technical skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, strong Power BI or equivalent dashboard-tool skills, working SQL knowledge, and hands-on ERP data extraction and reporting are essential.
• Practical forecasting experience with trends, seasonality, moving averages, and scenario modelling is essential.
• Python or R for analysis is desirable.
• Strong PowerPoint skills are stated for management presentations.

Pay

• Pay is AED 3,500–5,000 per month.
