The employer seeks an experienced Business Analyst with a banking and financial services background to join a client team in New Jersey.
The analyst will bridge business stakeholders and technical teams, driving requirements analysis and project delivery.
Business analysis and project work
- Gather, analyze, and document requirements with business stakeholders, product owners, and subject matter experts.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and elicitation sessions to understand business needs and objectives.
- Prepare and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and use cases.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development and testing teams.
- Work with architects, developers, QA, and other technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyze processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements; facilitate discussions to resolve issues and manage scope.
- Support UAT with test scenarios, requirements validation, and coordination with business users.
- Maintain project documentation, traceability matrices, and change requests to organizational standards.
- Support initiatives across lending, payments, deposits, risk, compliance, and other financial products and processes.
Required qualifications
- Proven experience creating BRDs, process flows, use cases, and requirements documentation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including engaging senior business and technology leaders.
- Experience in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Bachelor of Commerce qualification and a background in banking and financial services.
Salary
- The posting lists a salary range of $65,000–$130,000 without specifying a pay cadence.
