About the Role
Khazna Data Centers is seeking a BMS Engineer to lead monitoring and operation of data center critical infrastructure in Abu Dhabi. The role requires 8+ years of experience in data center BMS operations, proficiency in BMS/EMS/SCADA platforms, and a bachelor's degree in engineering.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate data center infrastructure management systems including BMS, EMS, SCADA, DCIM, and FAS
- Ensure all power, cooling, HVAC, and other systems function within specified parameters
- Analyse data from infrastructure systems to proactively identify and address potential issues
- Conduct regular checks on data center management systems to maintain reliability and accuracy
- Oversee the data center infrastructure management system network and monitor network infrastructure
- Adjust system parameters to maintain optimal conditions with guidance and approval
- Respond promptly to alerts and alarms in accordance with facility standard operating procedures and emergency response plans
- Keep accurate documentation of NOC/BMS operations, system configurations, changes, and maintenance activities
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors regarding system status, issues, and resolutions
- Assist with audits, provide data and reports, and ensure compliance with operational policies and safety procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Higher National Diploma in Engineering (3 years) or equivalent
- Certifications such as Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) or Certified Data Centre Specialist (CDCS)
- BMS specific certifications or training
- Minimum 8+ years of proven experience in data center BMS operations and management or mission critical facilities
- Proficiency in monitoring and operating BMS/EMS/SCADA platforms
- Must be available to work on a rotating shift basis, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Key Accountabilities
- Monitor and operate data center infrastructure management systems in the NOC room, including BMS, EMS, SCADA, DCIM, and FAS.

Minimum Qualifications
