Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate data center infrastructure management systems (BMS, EMS, SCADA, DCIM, FAS) in NOC room
- Analyze data from infrastructure systems to proactively identify and address potential issues
- Conduct regular checks on data center management systems to maintain reliability and accuracy
- Adjust system parameters to maintain optimal conditions with guidance from Operations Engineer or Site Operations Manager
- Respond promptly to alerts and alarms in accordance with SOPs and emergency response plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of NOC/BMS operations, system configurations, and changes
- Coordinate with operations engineers and technicians for on site troubleshooting and repairs
- Assist Site Operations Manager with NOC/BMS operation audits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or Higher National Diploma in Engineering (3 years) or equivalent
- Minimum 8+ years of proven experience in data center BMS operations and management or mission critical facilities
- Certifications such as CDCP or CDCS
- BMS specific certifications or training
- Proficiency in monitoring and operating BMS/EMS/SCADA platforms
- Available to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Overview
- Khazna Data Centers is a leading wholesale data center provider in MENA.
- Seeking a BMS Engineer to lead monitoring and operation of critical infrastructure.
- Role ensures optimal performance and rapid response to events with support from NOC/BMS Operators.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitor and operate BMS, EMS, SCADA, DCIM, FAS systems in NOC room.
- Ensure infrastructure management systems are fully operational and free of communication errors.
- Analyze data to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Conduct regular checks on all data center management systems.
- Oversee infrastructure management system network and monitor network infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with operational control guidelines.
- Adjust system parameters to maintain optimal conditions with guidance.
- Verify NOC room setup is correct.
- Maintain tidy, clean NOC room with proper cable management.
- Ensure escalation matrix is available and accurate.
- Monitor network performance and availability.
- Communicate with internal teams and external vendors.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or Higher National Diploma in Engineering (3 years) or equivalent.
- Certifications such as CDCP or CDCS.
- BMS specific certifications or training.
Minimum Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of proven experience in data center BMS operations and management or mission critical facilities.
Job Specific Skills
- Proficiency in monitoring and operating BMS/EMS/SCADA platforms.
- Must be available to work on a rotating shift basis, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
