Role overview

Responsibilities

• Provide CAD drafting and create 3D models.
• Create and manage BIM families, components, and templates.
• Align 3D models as advised by the Project Control Manager or Planning Engineer for 4D/5D planning.
• Incorporate directed design changes and updates into BIM models.
• Assist with clash resolution by coordinating with other disciplines and making necessary model adjustments.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve clashes and coordinate design elements.
• Participate in coordination meetings and interdisciplinary workshops to address clashes and conflicts.
• Generate accurate 2D drawings and documentation from BIM models, ensuring consistency with project standards.
• Review and verify extracted drawings before submission.
• Follow organizational and industry BIM standards, protocols, best practices, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with the BIM team to enhance BIM workflows and processes and work effectively with project teams.

Software and tools

• Project modelling software includes Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, 3ds Max, and SketchUp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Civil, Construction, Architecture, or Structural, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of BIM modelling experience in similar industries.
• ACC, Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks software certificates are preferred.
