Barista / Juice Maker

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide range of fresh juices, smoothies, mocktails, fruit-based drinks, and specialty cold beverages.
• Demonstrate excellent fruit cutting, garnishing, beverage decoration, and creative presentation skills.
• Prepare, cook, decorate, and serve waffles and crepes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portion sizes, and product presentation.
• Quickly adapt to menu specifications, recipes, preparation techniques, and ingredient storage requirements.
• Manage multiple orders efficiently while maintaining speed and accuracy during busy periods.
• Operate POS systems, process customer orders, and handle payments accurately.
• Deliver friendly, professional, and attentive customer service.
• Monitor daily stock levels, manage ingredients efficiently, and report replenishment needs.
• Follow proper food handling, storage, hygiene, and food safety procedures.
• Minimize waste and maintain proper portion control.
• Keep workstations, equipment, and preparation areas clean and organized.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista, Juice Maker, or in a similar food and beverage role.
• Strong hands-on experience in preparing fresh juices, smoothies, mocktails, and specialty cold beverages.
• Excellent fruit cutting, garnishing, and creative beverage presentation skills.
• Practical experience in preparing, cooking, and presenting waffles and crepes.
• Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn new recipes and follow standardized preparation methods.
• Familiarity with POS systems and order processing.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and ingredient storage practices.
• Good English communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and responsible.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a food truck, café, kiosk, or dessert shop is an advantage.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: Up to AED 2,500 per month, depending on experience and skills.
• Employment Type: Full-time.
• Work Location: On-site, JVC, Dubai.

Compensation

• Pay: AED 2,000.00 - AED 2,500.00 per month.
