Full-time, non-management Pool Attendant role in Golf, Fitness, & Entertainment at The Ritz-Carlton in Doha, Qatar.

Position summary
- Wash, mop, and clean the pool deck; obtain, fold, and stack towels according to company procedures.
- Promote a fun, relaxing atmosphere in recreation areas through an upbeat and enthusiastic manner.
- Observe activity, promote facility rules, and respond to emergencies according to local operating procedures.
- Identify situations where guests may not be able to participate safely and inform a supervisor or manager.
- Assist injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; follow company policies and quality standards.
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and communicate professionally.
- Inspect tools and equipment and use computers or point-of-sale systems to enter and locate work information.
Qualifications and certifications
- CPR certification and First Aid certification are required.
- Fitness Equipment certification or training and certifications or training required by local and state agencies are listed as required.
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is specified.
Physical and workplace expectations
The work includes moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds, handling objects requiring fine motor coordination, and moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs or ramps.
The work includes reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Maintain a clean professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and develop positive working relationships.
