Pool and guest support
- Wash, mop, and clean the pool deck; obtain, fold, and stack towels according to company procedures.
- Promote a fun, relaxing atmosphere in recreational areas and activities with an upbeat, enthusiastic attitude.
- Observe recreation facility activity, respond to emergencies according to local procedures, and promote facility rules.
- Identify guests who may be unable to participate safely and inform a supervisor or manager.
- Assist injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express appreciation.
Safety and general duties
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to a manager; complete safety training and certifications.
- Follow company policies and quality standards; maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and company assets.
- Communicate professionally, develop positive working relationships, and perform other reasonable duties as requested.
- Read and visually verify information, inspect tools or equipment for defects, and use computers or point-of-sale systems for work information.
- Move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and perform the described reaching, bending, lifting, and movement on uneven or slippery surfaces.
Qualifications and certifications
- CPR certification and First Aid certification are required.
- Fitness Equipment and certifications or training required by local and state agencies are listed under required certifications.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience and no supervisory experience are indicated.
