Accountabilities
- Certify own and others' work after checking approved data and authorization scope; complete documentation accurately and on time.
- Perform maintenance according to company, safety, airport, regulatory, and technical requirements.
- Prepare materials, parts, tools, equipment, and documentation for each shift.
- Maintain clean, safe, serviceable work areas and prevent Foreign Object Damage.
- Guide technicians in safe and effective practices; participate in training and development.
- Inspect Ground Support Equipment and company vehicles, completing the required checklists and inspection forms.
- Follow company processes, quality standards, and the Safety & Quality Management Manual; promote positive safety reporting.
- Maintain a professional approach with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers and follow corporate image standards.
Qualifications
- High School Leaving Certificate, diploma, or university or college degree.
- Valid Aircraft Maintenance License: GCAA, EASA Part-66, or ICAO type convertible to GCAA.
- 7–10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including at least 5 years of certifying experience in base/light maintenance.
- 2–3 years of certifying experience on at least two listed Etihad aircraft type ratings at Level 3, with valid company authorization.
- Strong communication and teamwork, with commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
