Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and data products that enable analytics, reporting, and AI use cases.
Work with business stakeholders, data analysts, and AI/ML engineers to deliver reliable, governed, high-quality data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable Databricks and Azure Data Factory data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Build and maintain data products on Azure and Databricks platforms.
- Integrate data from multiple enterprise and external sources.
- Implement data quality, monitoring, governance, and security controls.
- Collaborate with product owners, business users, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support CI/CD, DevSecOps, testing, and operational excellence practices.
Required skills and qualifications
- Strong Python and SQL experience; strong Databricks experience.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL.
- Experience building data pipelines and data integration solutions.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with GitHub, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum practices; strong stakeholder communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or higher, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred skills
- AI/ML and GenAI exposure.
- Databricks certifications.
- Experience with Power BI, Fabric, or visualization platforms.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale cloud environments.
Work arrangement
- Work mode is hybrid.
- Primary location is Bangalore, Karnataka, India; CGI office is TPLS Bangalore.
- General shift.
