Experience and Domain

• Requires at least 12 years of technology experience, including at least 5 years in AI/ML and at least 4 years in BFSI or fintech.
• Relevant domains include banking, payments or money movement, and lending, with web and mobile platform experience.

AI Strategy and Accelerator Leadership

• Define and own the AI roadmap for Move Money, Banking, and Lending in alignment with business objectives and customer outcomes.
• Build and operate reusable AI frameworks, accelerators, patterns, and playbooks that speed delivery across product teams.
• Identify and prioritize high-return AI and GenAI use cases and drive build-versus-buy decisions.

Solution Design and Delivery

• Architect end-to-end AI, ML, and GenAI solutions for web and mobile experiences.
• Lead use cases including fraud detection, credit underwriting, transaction categorization, payment anomaly detection, conversational banking, KYC automation, and personalization.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, observable, cost-optimized, resilient, and production-grade.

Governance and Compliance

• Embed responsible AI and model risk management practices covering bias, fairness, explainability, and drift monitoring.
• Partner with Risk, Legal, and Compliance to establish guardrails for GenAI and data usage.
• Support compliance with fair lending, KYC/AML, data privacy, and model governance requirements.

Leadership and Enablement

• Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary AI team including ML engineers, data scientists, and MLOps professionals.
• Upskill product and engineering teams on AI capabilities and adoption.
• Communicate strategy, trade-offs, and outcomes to senior and executive stakeholders.

Core Qualifications

• Requires production AI/ML delivery experience at scale for web and mobile.
• Requires hands-on expertise in ML, deep learning, GenAI or LLMs, Python, ML frameworks, LLM tooling, vector databases, MLOps, cloud, data engineering, and BFSI use cases.
• Requires strong understanding of AI governance, model risk, financial regulations, stakeholder management, and executive communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred experience includes real-time payments AI, explainable AI, fair-lending compliance, mobile AI, web personalization, an advanced technical degree, or establishing an AI center of excellence or accelerator function.
