Role Purpose

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising daily workshop activities, guiding technicians, monitoring job progress, and ensuring service, repair, maintenance, and vehicle preparation work is completed accurately, safely, and on time.

You will play a key leadership role in supporting service center operations, maintaining technical quality, improving team productivity, and ensuring all vehicles meet ROX UAE’s premium automotive standards within a dynamic service center environment in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily workshop activities.
  • Track job progress and completion.
  • Assign jobs to technicians properly.
  • Lead the workshop team effectively.
  • Ensure high repair quality standards.
  • Review job cards and work instructions.
  • Maintain workshop discipline and safety.
  • Support technicians with technical guidance.
  • Ensure vehicles are repaired correctly and on time.
  • Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and work quality.
  • Coordinate with service advisors and workshop management.
  • Report technical issues, delays, defects, or operational concerns immediately.
  • Support quality control checks before vehicles are released for final inspection or delivery.
  • Ensure proper use of tools, workshop equipment, diagnostic devices, and company resources.
  • Follow up on pending jobs, urgent vehicles, VIP vehicles, repeat repairs, and customer complaints.
  • Ensure all repairs, maintenance, inspections, and service tasks follow approved procedures.
  • Maintain accurate updates on job status, technician assignments, repair progress, and workshop priorities.
  • Coordinate with parts, warranty, service advisors, quality control, drivers, and management when required.
  • Ensure the workshop remains organized, safe, clean, productive, and aligned with ROX UAE’s service center standards.
  • Identify training needs, technical gaps, workmanship issues, and performance concerns within the technician team.
  • Support troubleshooting, diagnosis, inspections, test drives, repair verification, and technical decision-making when required.
  • Ensure all technicians follow company policies, safety procedures, workshop rules, technical standards, and conduct requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information, vehicle records, technical reports, internal matters, and company operations at all times.
  • Maintain a professional leadership presence, positive attitude, technical accuracy, and excellent conduct while representing the Service Department.
  • Support service center operations during urgent deliveries, high service volume, VIP requests, technical escalations, campaigns, and special service activities.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve workshop productivity, repair quality, technician performance, process efficiency, documentation, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Valid UAE driving license is strongly preferred.
  • Professional appearance, attitude, and conduct.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English is required.
  • Ability to lead, guide, motivate, and support technicians.
  • Arabic language skills or additional languages are preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple workshop priorities.
  • Ability to read job cards, repair instructions, inspection reports, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to identify repair gaps, technical issues, workmanship concerns, and operational delays.
  • Good knowledge of vehicle systems, service procedures, maintenance standards, diagnosis, repair processes, and workshop safety.
  • Ability to coordinate professionally with service advisors, technicians, parts team, quality control, management, customers, and external parties.
  • Good knowledge of workshop operations, technician productivity, job allocation, quality checks, road testing, repair documentation, and service center workflow.
  • Previous experience as a Team Leader, Workshop Supervisor, Senior Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Technical Controller, or similar automotive service role is required.
  • Minimum 4+ years of automotive service experience, including hands-on technical, workshop, supervisory, or team leadership experience, preferably within dealership, premium automotive, luxury automotive, or authorized service center environments.

Work Conditions

  • Full-time position based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
  • Service center-based role with daily workshop supervision and technical coordination duties.
  • Rotational shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and evening shifts as required by business operations.
  • Regular use of job cards, inspection checklists, diagnostic reports, service records, technical documents, workshop tools, and internal reporting systems.
  • Direct interaction with technicians, service advisors, quality controllers, parts team, drivers, customers, suppliers, workshop management, and external parties.
  • Continuous standing, walking, vehicle checking, workshop monitoring, job allocation, technical follow-up, inspection, reporting, and operational coordination throughout working hours.
  • May require extended working hours during urgent deliveries, customer escalations, VIP vehicles, high service volume, technical inspections, campaigns, repeat repairs, or operational requirements.
