Role overview

Elite Shine Group seeks an experienced Automotive Storekeeper / Inventory Controller for its Dubai automotive operations.

The role manages materials, spare parts, tools, and consumables across automotive operations.

Employment is full-time; work location is in person.

Inventory operations

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and spare parts; issue materials only against approved job cards or material requisitions.
  • Maintain accurate ERP stock quantities, item codes, descriptions, categories, and bin locations.
  • Control mechanical and electrical parts; bodyshop paint and repair materials; detailing and ceramic-coating products; PPF, wrapping, window-tint materials; tools, equipment, and consumables.
  • Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and notify Purchasing before critical materials run out.
  • Use FIFO stock movement where applicable; separately record damaged, returned, expired, and wasted materials.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts, reconcile stock against ERP records, and promptly investigate and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain goods received notes, issue records, transfers, and returns.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Accounts, Workshop Managers, Supervisors, and Technicians.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports; monitor fast-, slow-, and non-moving stock.
  • Keep the store clean, labelled, secure, and professionally organized.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of automotive storekeeping or inventory experience is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of automotive spare parts and workshop consumables; ERP or inventory-system experience; strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong stock-control and documentation skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy, multi-department workshop.
  • UAE automotive workshop experience is preferred; candidates from automotive workshops, dealerships, bodyshops, or multi-brand service centers are preferred.

Performance indicators

Physical stock versus ERP accuracy target: 98–100%.

No materials issued without proper authorization and no unexplained stock loss.

Timely stock replenishment and proper control of damaged or wasted materials.

Complete monthly stock audits on time and maintain control of tools issued and returned.

Minimize workshop delays caused by unavailable regular-stock materials.

Pay

  • Pay is AED 3,000–4,000 per month.
