Role Purpose

As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for managing stock accuracy, inventory movement, receiving, issuing, storage, documentation, and control of spare parts, consumables, tools, and service-related materials within ROX UAE Service Center.

You will play a key role in supporting smooth service center operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, reducing stock discrepancies, ensuring proper stock availability, and protecting company assets within a dynamic automotive service center environment in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control daily stock movement.
  • Receive and issue stock properly.
  • Monitor stock levels and availability.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Organize stock storage areas efficiently.
  • Check received items against documents.
  • Update stock records and systems regularly.
  • Report stock shortages or discrepancies immediately.
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and safekeeping of stock.
  • Maintain proper filing of invoices, delivery notes, and stock records.
  • Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and physical inventory reviews.
  • Support spare parts, workshop, body shop, and service center requirements.
  • Coordinate with spare parts, procurement, finance, warehouse, and service teams when required.
  • Ensure all stock transactions, returns, transfers, adjustments, and issuances are properly recorded.
  • Monitor consumables, workshop materials, cleaning items, tools, spare parts, and operational supplies.
  • Track fast-moving, slow-moving, damaged, obsolete, pending, and back-ordered items when required.
  • Verify quantities, item codes, descriptions, part numbers, prices, and supporting documents when required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of supplier details, pricing, inventory records, internal reports, and company matters at all times.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, drivers, logistics, service advisors, technicians, parts staff, and management regarding stock-related matters.
  • Support inventory audits, stocktaking activities, discrepancy investigations, and reconciliation of physical stock with system records.
  • Follow company policies, stock control procedures, approval processes, documentation standards, and safety requirements.
  • Ensure stock areas remain clean, safe, organized, accessible, properly arranged, and aligned with company storage and safety standards.
  • Identify stock control gaps, documentation errors, wrong items, damaged items, missing items, stock variances, and operational risks.
  • Maintain a professional attitude, strong attention to detail, accuracy, discipline, and excellent conduct while representing the Parts and Inventory function.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, stock control, documentation quality, storage efficiency, cost control, and operational support across the service center.

Qualifications

  • Strong inventory control skills.
  • Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Professional appearance, attitude, and conduct.
  • Good organization and time-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English is required.
  • Arabic language skills or additional languages are preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent stock requirements.
  • Ability to follow procedures, instructions, and approval processes accurately.
  • Ability to read invoices, delivery notes, stock reports, item codes, and inventory documents.
  • Ability to identify stock discrepancies, wrong items, damaged items, missing items, and documentation errors.
  • Good knowledge of stock control, inventory movement, receiving, issuing, storage, reconciliation, and stocktaking practices.
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems, inventory systems, MS Excel, email communication, stock reports, and documentation processes.
  • Ability to coordinate professionally with spare parts teams, technicians, service advisors, suppliers, finance, procurement, logistics, and management.
  • Previous experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Controller, Parts Controller, Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, Inventory Assistant, or related automotive inventory role is preferred.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in stock control, inventory management, warehouse operations, spare parts, service center support, or a related role, preferably within automotive, dealership, service center, trading, logistics, or warehouse environments.

Work Conditions

  • Full-time position based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
  • Service center-based role with daily inventory, stock control, and operational coordination duties.
  • Rotational shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and evening shifts as required by business operations.
  • Regular use of ERP systems, inventory systems, stock reports, invoices, delivery notes, item codes, MS Excel, email, and internal communication channels.
  • Continuous standing, walking, stock checking, receiving, issuing, arranging, counting, documentation, reporting, and operational follow-up throughout working hours.
  • Direct interaction with spare parts teams, technicians, service advisors, workshop supervisors, suppliers, procurement, finance, logistics, drivers, management, and external parties.
  • May require extended working hours during stocktaking, inventory audits, urgent repairs, high service volume, supplier deliveries, back orders, campaigns, or operational requirements.
