Associate Senior SDET Analyst

Role overview

What you’ll own

• Shift between manual and automated testing according to team needs, the feature, and project timeline.
• Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, produce quality code, and help establish quality assurance practices and automation.
• Update automation scripts and design test suites for test-driven and behavior-driven development.
• Write moderately complex code and develop test frameworks for APIs, RESTful APIs, web services, and non-UI components; integrate automated suites with CI tools.
• Develop test plans, conditions, and cases with stakeholders, business teams, developers, and test analysts.
• Establish test-data conditioning and execution practices, coordinate account conditions and special validation needs, and assess multiple application environments.
• Act as test-engineering contact for assigned client projects; coordinate test-team work, review client test plans and scripts, prioritize execution, and provide client feedback.
• Identify process improvements and continuous quality measures across the development lifecycle.

What you’ll bring

• 4+ years of experience in software testing, coding, designing, and developing.
• Strong coding skills; Java is preferred.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and server tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience maintaining automation frameworks and test tools; knowledge of SQL and databases.
• Experience with Java, IntelliJ, and Selenium.
• Strong communication skills, self-motivation, resourcefulness, critical thinking, attention to detail, and a team-oriented approach.

Bonus experience

• Hands-on experience with Appium, HTML/CSS/XPath, ADB, Maven, or API is a bonus.
• API testing, Cucumber and Gherkin, or experience creating an automation framework are bonuses.
• Point of Sale domain experience and knowledge of GCP or AWS are bonuses.
