Overview
The Associate Presales Engineer will support the sales and presales teams by contributing to the technical aspects of the sales cycle, including customer discovery, solution demonstrations, and proposal preparation.
This role is designed as an entry point into cybersecurity presales, providing hands-on experience, mentorship, and development toward becoming a fully independent Presales Engineer.
Core Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer technical requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations of our cybersecurity products and services.
- Support the design and development of tailored security solutions under the guidance of senior presales engineers
- Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of our product offerings, features, and benefits.
- Contribute to customer discussions by providing technical insights and best practice recommendations with support fromsenior team members
- Respond to technical questions and inquiries from potential clients.
- Work with clients to resolve any technical issues during the evaluation process.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to provide feedback and insights from customer interactions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.

- Bachelor Degree in Computer or Information Technology or related subjects
- 0 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or presales, including internships or academic projects
- Entry-level certifications such as Security+, SSCP, eJPT, or equivalent
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technologies (such as SIEM, EDR, networksecurity, cloud security)
- Exposure to cybersecurity products or vendors is a plus but not mandatory
- Familiarity with security frameworks (NCA, SAMA, NIST) is preferred but not required
- Strong interest in cybersecurity and willingness to continuously learn
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
- Any experience in customer-facing roles, presentations, or internships is a plus
- Basic understanding of sales processes or CRM tools is advantageous
