Associate Presales Engineer - Contractor

Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer technical requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations of our cybersecurity products and services.
• Support the design and development of tailored security solutions under the guidance of senior presales engineers
• Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of our product offerings, features, and benefits.
• Contribute to customer discussions by providing technical insights and best practice recommendations with support fromsenior team members
• Respond to technical questions and inquiries from potential clients.
• Work with clients to resolve any technical issues during the evaluation process.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to provide feedback and insights from customer interactions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.

• Bachelor Degree in Computer or Information Technology or related subjects
• 0 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or presales, including internships or academic projects
• Entry-level certifications such as Security+, SSCP, eJPT, or equivalent
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technologies (such as SIEM, EDR, networksecurity, cloud security)
• Exposure to cybersecurity products or vendors is a plus but not mandatory
• Familiarity with security frameworks (NCA, SAMA, NIST) is preferred but not required
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and willingness to continuously learn
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Any experience in customer-facing roles, presentations, or internships is a plus
• Basic understanding of sales processes or CRM tools is advantageous
