Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities to drive organizational growth and revenue.

The role focuses on market analysis, client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and proposal development while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to support long-term business objectives.

Business Development & Growth

  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and revenue streams aligned with the company s strategy.
  • Develop and implement business development plans to achieve growth targets.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business.

Market Research & Strategic Analysis

  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend assessments.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Proposals, Bids & Commercial Support

  • Lead the preparation of proposals, bids, and commercial offers in coordination with internal teams.
  • Ensure proposals meet client requirements, commercial objectives, and quality standards.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal) to support deal structuring and execution.
  • Ensure smooth handover of secured projects to relevant teams.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor business development performance, pipeline activity, and revenue forecasts.
  • Prepare reports and updates for senior management on business development progress.
