The Associate will join the Private Markets division.
The role supports private equity clients with fund benchmarking and manager and portfolio data analysis.
The associate will work as an extended team member for a private equity client.
Primary responsibilities
- Update and manage portfolio details for private equity, credit, real estate, and infrastructure funds.
- Update and analyze portfolio company financial, valuation, and operational KPIs.
- Spread portfolio company financial data according to predefined standards.
- Quality-check output sheets and perform trend analysis to verify outliers and supporting reasons.
- Track portfolio operational updates quarterly.
- Create and update fund track records and reconcile data using cash flow notices.
Qualifications
- MBA, another postgraduate degree, or a professional degree.
- 1–3 years of experience in financial services.
- Knowledge of MS Office with strong MS Excel skills.
- Sound knowledge of private equity, financial management, and accounting concepts.
- Strong accuracy, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented approach.
Preferred skills
- Professional certifications such as CFA or FRM are a plus.
- Knowledge of AI capabilities and practical business applications is a plus.
