Support the Restaurant Manager in leading the overall operation of a Latin American dining and entertainment destination in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate brings leadership, commercial awareness, team-development ability, and a focus on service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Deputize for the Restaurant Manager across the operation.
- Manage floor plans, staff rotas, and section allocations.
- Drive covers, spend per head, and consistent service standards.
- Lead staff training, certification, and floor performance.
- Monitor complimentary items, voids, discounts, and breakage.
- Conduct pre-service briefings and post-service debriefings.
- Support operational efficiency and a high standard of guest experience.
Requirements
- At least 3 years supervising or assistant-managing a premium venue.
- Able to develop and train employees beyond managing daily shifts.
- Strong numerical and commercial skills, including covers, spend per head, labour hours, and cost control.
- Excellent communication skills; English is essential.
- Spanish is an advantage.
- UAE hospitality experience and food safety certification are advantages.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and throughout the winter season.
