Role overview

Housekeeping operations

• Inspect rooms and public areas after cleaning to ensure quality standards.
• Run sold-room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies, prioritize room cleaning, and update departing-room status.
• Coordinate housekeeping work with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry; document and resolve room discrepancies with the Front Desk.
• Prepare and communicate room-assignment changes, hand off issues to the next shift, and complete required paperwork.

Team and standards

• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Follow safety and security policies, report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete safety training.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality, protect company assets, welcome guests, and address service needs.
• Communicate clearly, maintain positive working relationships, respond to employee concerns, and meet quality expectations.
• Use computers or point-of-sale systems to enter and locate work-related information; perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of related work experience preferred.
• At least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• No license or certification is listed.

Physical requirements

• Move, lift, carry, and place objects up to 55 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with assistance.
• Push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and work machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods; reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, pull, and stoop.
• Grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight and read or visually verify information in different formats.
