Role overview

What you will do

• Account for capital expenditure and associated direct-cost journals.
• Complete interface, subledger, and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Manage fixed-asset capitalisation, disposal, and depreciation.
• Process operating- and capital-expenditure reclassifications.
• Prepare monthly management information and financial reports.
• Maintain SOX compliance, KPIs, and controls 004, 005, and 010 within agreed timelines.
• Contribute to internal and external financial reporting and compliance.
• Provide managers and leaders with accurate group or market financial information.
• Interpret new accounting procedures, assess their operational impact, and deliver within service levels while preventing errors and escalations.
• Follow company values, policies, procedures, and safety standards when working with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.

Who you are

• Three to five years of Accounts Payable experience and sound accounting knowledge.
• Understanding of asset accounting, financial reporting concepts, and Finance Operations.
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and respond constructively to challenging situations.
• Effective communication in English; German is preferred but not essential.
• Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Excel, and practical experience using SAP or another ERP platform.
• Familiarity with Power BI and agentic AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot.
