Must-have experience
- 7–12+ years in Special Purpose Machine or custom machine design.
- Strong SolidWorks and 3D CAD experience.
- Experience designing complete machines from concept and calculations through 3D modeling, drawings, BOMs, fabrication, assembly, and commissioning.
- Strong mechanical mechanism and machine design experience.
- Experience with Engineer-to-Order and customized machines.
- Experience developing machines from the ground up or from a blank sheet.
- Knowledge of motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings, pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, and linear motion systems.
- Knowledge of conveyors, jigs, fixtures, welding, machined components, and sheet-metal fabrication.
- Ability to design for in-house fabrication.
- Experience coordinating with fabrication, machining, assembly, electrical, and PLC teams.
- Hands-on experience in prototype testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Understanding of DFM/DFA, cost optimization, maintenance, BOMs, fabrication drawings, and engineering documentation.
Pay
- Pay is AED 11,000–AED 12,500 per month.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design of special purpose and customized machines from concept through commissioning.
- Perform design calculations and develop 3D models, detailed drawings, and bills of materials.
- Develop machines from a blank sheet based on unique customer requirements and ETO projects.
- Design mechanical mechanisms and integrate motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings, pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, and linear motion systems.
- Design conveyors, jigs, fixtures, welded structures, machined components, and sheet-metal parts.
- Design equipment for in-house fabrication, assembly, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with fabrication, machining, assembly, electrical, and PLC teams.
- Conduct prototype testing, troubleshoot equipment, and support commissioning.
- Apply DFM/DFA principles and cost optimization during machine development.
- Prepare engineering documentation, fabrication drawings, and BOMs.
