Assistant Maintenance Manager in the Maintenance, Development Function, based at the Riyadh head office and reporting to the Senior Country Maintenance Manager - KSA.
Leads day-to-day maintenance delivery across Americana Restaurants' KSA estate of around 750 stores, commissaries, and offices.
Field-based leadership role with regular store visits across the Kingdom.
Maintenance delivery and PPM
- Run daily reactive maintenance through regional supervisors and technicians.
- Triage, prioritize, and close CAFM work orders with full evidence.
- Own the preventive maintenance schedule and quality-check visits through random audits.
- Escalate critical cold-chain, cooking-equipment, HVAC, fire, and life-safety breakdowns.
Vendors, compliance, and projects
- Verify AMC and contractor work against contract scope and SLA; maintain vendor scorecards, raise breaches, support penalty recovery, and validate invoices.
- Inspect stores for fire and life safety, gas, electrical, water, and air quality; track Civil Defence, audit, and inspection findings to closure.
- Lead maintenance work for openings and remodels, including snagging, handover, and commissioning.
- Maintain the asset register, use warranty claims, manage spare parts, and monitor regional spend against budget.
- Supervise and train technical teams and support retention.
Qualifications and experience
- Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Facilities Management qualification.
- 7+ years in maintenance or facilities, including 3+ years supervising multi-site technical teams.
- Hands-on kitchen equipment, HVAC, and cold-room experience; proficiency in CAFM or maintenance systems and KPI reporting.
- Working knowledge of KSA Civil Defence, HSSE, and legal compliance requirements.
- Valid Saudi driving licence and willingness to travel across the Kingdom.
- F&B, QSR, or multi-site retail experience is preferred.
