Support the Director of Finance in overseeing hotel finance and accounting operations and serve as a key support to the department.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, P&L analysis, and performance reports.
- Support month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and provisions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow monitoring, and variance analysis; monitor departmental revenue, costs, and risks.
- Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies, controls, SOPs, accounting standards, and Saudi VAT and ZATCA requirements.
- Support payroll review, audits, and related documentation.
- Supervise and develop Finance team members and support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
- Partner with operational departments on financial guidance and controls; assume departmental responsibilities when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of progressive Finance or Accounting experience; hospitality experience preferred and luxury hotel experience highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, P&L, reconciliations, internal controls, and Saudi VAT and ZATCA requirements.
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills; hotel systems such as SUN, Opera, or Micros are preferred.
- SOCPA membership or certification preferred; CPA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; high accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
