Design experiences for a banking mobile app, translating complex financial data into clear, trustworthy, and usable interfaces.

Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI for native iOS and Android banking app features.
- Balance UX research, user flows, and usability with visual design, interaction design, and micro-states.
- Contribute to and extend the existing design system by proposing components and patterns where gaps exist.
- Design clear, scannable data-dense screens, including transaction histories, statements, and multi-account dashboards.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and compliance or legal teams to translate business and regulatory requirements into usable experiences.
- Conduct or contribute to user research and usability testing, then iterate designs based on findings.
- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and banking-specific security and compliance considerations.
- Prepare clear developer handoff specifications and support implementation through release.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning and reviews.
Required qualifications
- 10–12+ years of experience in product, UX, or UI design.
- Dedicated native mobile app design experience for iOS and Android is required.
- Proficiency in Figma, including auto layout, components, variables, and prototyping.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX process and UI visual craft.
- Experience working within and contributing to a complex, mature design system.
- Demonstrated experience designing for complex datasets or data-dense interfaces.
Preferred and additional qualifications
- Previous banking or fintech experience is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of native platform guidelines such as Apple HIG or Material Design.
- Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
- Comfort working in Agile/Scrum and cross-functional environments.
