Entry-level apprenticeship in ASEL's Security Technology team in Rochdale, supporting technology records, schedules, and documentation.
The role provides on-the-job learning alongside protected off-the-job training with a learning provider; no prior experience is needed.
Administration and service support
- Enter, update, and check client-site, installed-technology, engineer, and service-schedule data; maintain asset registers and document versions.
- Coordinate service records, visits, and paperwork; update operational systems and respond to routine colleague queries.
- Prepare Excel and Microsoft 365 reports, collate client-reporting data, and flag unusual data to a senior colleague.
- Support supplier records, purchase orders, contract renewals, system testing and rollout, and step-by-step process guides.
Compliance and development
- Handle data in line with GDPR and information security policies; treat sensitive client, personnel, and commercial information confidentially.
- Support the Integrated Management System and accreditation requirements.
- Complete apprenticeship learning, coursework, and assessments; review progress with the line manager and training provider.
- Contribute to team meetings and suggest improvements.
What ASEL is looking for
- GCSE Mathematics and English at Grade 4/C or equivalent, or willingness to achieve these during the apprenticeship.
- Strong attention to detail, basic IT skills, and some familiarity with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good organisation and time management, ability to meet deadlines, and clear professional written and verbal communication.
- Enthusiasm to learn new systems and take on feedback.
