Supports revenue management for hotel room inventory, reporting, forecasting, rates, and reservation systems.
Revenue management duties
- Assist in managing room inventory to maximize cluster room revenue and maintain accurate reservation-system information.
- Prepare competitive analyses and supporting documents for market sales strategy meetings.
- Assist with room authorizations, rates, restrictions, and communicating rate strategy to properties.
- Complete month-end revenue management reporting and auditing; provide forward-looking information for forecasting and need-area targeting.
- Generate and update property and market revenue reports and serve as a primary source for the team's reporting and analysis.
- Maintain systems by entering rate hurdles, monitoring demand forecasts, updating group forecasts, and running daily system checks.
- Assist with training associates on revenue management tools and implementing hotel sales strategies in reservation and inventory systems.
General duties and standards
- Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and provide courteous guest service.
- Communicate professionally, maintain positive working relationships, meet quality standards, and perform other reasonable duties as requested.
- Read and verify information; perform required standing, walking, sitting, and handling of objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is listed as preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience is listed.
- No supervisory experience is required; no license or certification is specified.
Schedule and location
- Full-time schedule at the Doha, Qatar property; the posting states the role is not remote.
