Supports revenue management for hotel room inventory, reporting, forecasting and reservation-system accuracy.
The role is non-management and listed as full time.
Revenue management duties
- Assist with room inventory management to maximize cluster rooms revenue and maintain accurate reservation-system information.
- Prepare competitive analyses and supporting materials for market sales strategy meetings.
- Assist with room authorizations, rates and restrictions, and communicate rate strategy to properties.
- Complete month-end revenue management reporting and auditing; provide information for forecasting, targeting need areas and balancing financial expectations.
- Generate and update property and market reports, serving as a primary source for reporting and analytical needs.
- Maintain systems by entering rate hurdles, monitoring demand forecasts, updating group forecasts and running daily checks.
- Assist with training new associates on revenue management tools and implementing sales strategies in reservation and inventory systems.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is specified; no license or certification is listed.
Workplace and conditions
- The position is not remote and is located at the stated Doha hotel address.
- The role may require extended standing, sitting or walking and handling objects weighing up to 15 pounds.
