Role overview

Delivery and team leadership

• Facilitate PI planning, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies; coach teams and support the people, processes, and tools needed for effective delivery.
• Combine traditional project management practices with Agile methods, balancing planning, agility, and predictability.
• Create a safe team environment, support problem-solving and conflict resolution, and lead through a servant-leadership approach.
• Lead integrated program planning and turn epic roadmaps into program backlogs and feature plans for team-level delivery.
• Maintain Definition of Done and quality practices, support sustainable pace, and manage Agile project tools such as ScrumDesk or JIRA.
• Hold teams accountable, remove blockers, improve backlog throughput, mentor team members, and monitor work through regular ceremonies.
• Support product and IT service managers with business expectations, backlog and schedule transparency, service performance, and improvement.
• Establish Agile governance and continuous improvement, assessing velocity and defect metrics and maintaining stakeholder visibility.
• Support cost estimates, sizing, total cost of ownership, budget tracking, demand forecasting, and procurement RFx scheduling.

Qualifications and experience

• Degree or Honours qualification in Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience.
• SAFe and PMI-ACP certifications, with at least 5 years of practical Scrum Management discipline experience.
• Leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organization with global teams in a large organization.
• Experience delivering Agile methods in large technology change programs.
• Experience with software delivery tools such as ServiceNow ITBM, Microsoft Office, JIRA, or Confluence.
• Good architectural knowledge of large-scale systems.
• Additional PMI, Prince2, or CSM certifications are desirable.
