Examples of Duties

• Facilitates student learning by meeting with and teaching assigned classes in accordance with the college academic calendar and approved syllabi. Promotes and supports the value of diversity and cultural sensitivity in all aspects of learning and teaching. Maintains currency in the subjects taught and recommends curricular modifications accordingly. Uses regular and occasional assessment data to monitor student learning and adjusts teaching methods, accommodating student learning styles and helping them achieve course outcomes. Maintains a working knowledge of the technology necessary for the subjects taught and for other college requirements. Maintains and reports accurate attendance and scholastic records of students. Maintains licenses and certificates required for employment eligibility, if applicable. Utilizes online learning platform (Blackboard) to enrich the student learning experience. Capable to deliver online lessons to students, including access to equipment that meets the College’s minimum technology requirements as listed on the College's website. Minimum Qualifications

• Conferred Master's degree from an accredited institution, with a concentration in the discipline for AA; Master's degree preferred for AAS. Demonstrated command of the discipline or field of study Excellent communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to use current applicable computer software and hardware. Possess appropriate technological equipment to handle online learning platform.
