Purpose and role context

Key responsibilities

• Connect with customers entering the store, serve them, and sell products while supporting a consumer-focused experience.
• Understand store and individual sales targets and contribute to store sales and profit goals.
• Use customer-service standards, product knowledge, and brand knowledge to improve the customer experience and communicate product features, benefits, and unique selling points.
• Guide customers to relevant digital and omnichannel tools for a seamless shopping experience.
• Process merchandise deliveries and replenish fixtures so the store's product offer is represented on the sales floor.
• Complete sales transactions quickly and accurately while following cash protection procedures; use appropriate opportunities for add-on sales and customer loyalty.
• Maintain visual merchandising and housekeeping standards to keep the store appealing and easy to shop.
• Follow store policies and procedures and perform all operations safely, effectively, and efficiently.
• Minimize loss in the stockroom and on the sales floor; contribute to maximizing sales.
• Stay aware of competitors, suggest operational improvements, collaborate respectfully, seek coaching, and complete applicable training.

Qualifications and experience

• The Arabic section lists a recent graduate with no experience or one year of sales experience, especially in sports fashion.
• The English section prefers 1–2 months of work in a sports/fashion customer- and commercial-focused retail environment.
• Fluent spoken and written Arabic; effective communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• Basic numeracy, literacy, and verbal communication skills.
• Retail professional competencies.

Knowledge and capabilities

• Retail sales, customer service, sales target contribution, product and brand knowledge, visual merchandising, omnichannel tools, transaction processing, cash protection, stock replenishment, and loss prevention.
