Supports day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for IFZA customers in the Shared Services Centre.
Coordinates with colleagues and follows organizational policies and procedures to deliver effective customer service.
Responsibilities
- Process and accurately record transactions in a timely manner; reconcile invoices and account statements and investigate discrepancies.
- Post journal transactions using double-entry bookkeeping and create and record aging reports.
- Support customers with financial packages and maintain customer relationships.
- Document procedures in line with internal controls, promote efficiency, and comply with company policies.
- Act as a contact for area-related inquiries; identify service issues and take appropriate action.
- Support standardization, continuous improvement, and continuity of daily tasks in the shared services centre.
- Oversee final monthly preparation of customer financial statements; update the team lead on progress and assist with ad hoc tasks.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance and 1–2 years of accounting experience.
- Native or bilingual Mandarin speaker; this is mandatory.
- Partly or fully qualified professional accounting qualification from a recognized accounting body preferred.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to work effectively under demanding timelines.
