Supports day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for IFZA customers in the Shared Services Centre.
Coordinates with colleagues, follows organizational policies and procedures, and performs checks and balances to deliver end-to-end customer service.
Responsibilities
- Process transactions according to procedures and record them accurately and promptly.
- Reconcile invoices and account statements and investigate discrepancies.
- Post accounting journal transactions using double-entry bookkeeping.
- Create and record aging reports.
- Support customers daily with their financial packages and manage those relationships.
- Implement procedure documentation aligned with internal controls and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and respond to inquiries in the area of responsibility.
- Identify service delivery issues and take appropriate action; support standardization and continuous improvement.
- Maintain continuity of daily tasks and oversee final monthly preparation of customer financial statements.
- Update the team lead on progress and assist with ad hoc tasks supporting the business.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance and 1–2 years of accounting experience.
- Native, bilingual, or professional proficiency in Chinese is mandatory.
- Partly or fully qualified professional accounting qualification from a recognized accounting body preferred.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to work effectively under demanding timelines.
