Vortexen UAE is seeking an accountant with project or construction experience to manage day-to-day accounting and project-related financial activities.

Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
- Track project costs, expenses, budgets, and profitability; verify supplier, subcontractor, and project-related invoices.
- Maintain financial and project records and prepare monthly financial and project cost reports.
- Support VAT, audits, and month-end closing; coordinate with procurement, project, and operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience; construction, contracting, engineering, or project-based company experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of project costing and accounting; hands-on Zoho Books or Zoho Finance experience.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting or ERP software.
- UAE accounting practices and VAT knowledge is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and communication skills, and ability to work independently while managing multiple financial tasks.
Preferred candidate
UAE-based construction or project accounting experience and hands-on Zoho experience are preferred.
