Ali & Sons Holding LLC seeks an Accountant – Payroll to manage payroll accounting and ensure timely, accurate employee payments across multiple locations and entities.
Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll in line with UAE Labor Law, regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and submit WPS files through authorized banks and coordinate salary payments.
- Manage payroll activities across multiple locations and entities.
- Perform payroll accounting, including journal entries, general ledger postings, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
- Validate payroll elements, deductions, payroll comparisons, commissions, leave salary, and end-of-service benefits.
- Prepare salary information for back-charging to other Group companies where applicable.
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee payroll records, contracts, and amendments.
- Provide supporting documentation for ICV, internal, and external audits.
- Work with HR and Finance to resolve payroll matters and ensure accurate employee cost accounting.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Manager – Payroll Accounting & Employee Cost Control.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field is required.
- At least three years of relevant payroll or accounting experience is required.
- Previous UAE experience is essential.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
- Oracle Fusion or SAP experience is a plus.
- Banking transaction experience is an advantage.
