Role overview

Responsibilities

• Process and record supplier invoices accurately and on time across all entities.
• Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolutions with suppliers and internal teams.
• Reconcile intercompany and regional balances, including Oman and Kuwait.
• Calculate and record realized foreign exchange gains and losses, accounting adjustments, and profit margins.
• Record expenses in the correct accounts and periods; reconcile credit card transactions against statements and supporting documents.
• Book expenses from verified invoices; maintain customer and vendor accounts in the accounting system.
• Record and reconcile petty cash, ensuring payment documentation is complete.
• Monitor supplier balances and follow up on pending invoices and unresolved reconciliation items.
• Assist with month-end closing, expense accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain organized records and supporting schedules for audits and management review; ensure ERP entries follow company procedures.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Previous accounts payable and general accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of supplier reconciliations, intercompany accounting, expense accruals, and month-end closing.
• Knowledge of foreign currency transactions and realized exchange gains and losses; ability to calculate and verify profit margins.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills; able to meet deadlines and communicate with suppliers and internal teams.
• Experience with multiple entities or GCC regional accounts, particularly Oman and Kuwait, is an advantage.

Pay

• AED 3,000–4,000 per month.
