2D Designer - Bilingual | 6 months contract

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Create 2D designs, layouts, and visual concepts for events, exhibitions, conferences, activations, and corporate projects.
• Design event branding materials such as backdrops, banners, stage graphics, registration counters, directional signage, wall graphics, and booth branding.
• Prepare creative presentations, mood boards, and design proposals for client approvals.
• Develop print-ready artwork files with correct dimensions, resolution, bleed, and production specifications.
• Coordinate with the 3D design team to ensure 2D branding is aligned with the overall event concept and structure.
• Work closely with project managers, production, and installation teams to ensure designs are practical and executable.
• Adapt client brand guidelines into event designs and visual materials.
• Revise designs based on client and internal feedback.
• Support in creating social media/event promotional graphics when required.
• Maintain organized design files and ensure all final artworks are properly archived.
• Manage multiple design tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a 2D Designer, preferably in events, exhibitions, advertising, branding, or creative agency.
• Strong knowledge of event branding, large-format printing, signage, and production requirements.
• Excellent skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Ability to prepare final artwork for printing and production.
• Good understanding of layout, typography, color, and branding.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to follow brand guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of 3D design/event structures is an advantage.
• Experience in the UAE events/exhibitions market is preferred.
