Overview

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven **Business Development Officer – AVL Solutions** to support the growth of the company’s Audio, Visual, and Lighting solutions business.

The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, preparing proposals, and supporting the sales process for AVL solutions across events, exhibitions, conferences, corporate venues, hotels, government entities, and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate should have experience in sales or business development within the events, AV, lighting, production, or technical solutions industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for AVL solutions.
  • Generate leads through market research, networking, cold calls, client visits, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event agencies, hotels, venues, government entities, and suppliers.
  • Understand client requirements and coordinate with the technical team to propose suitable AVL solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.
  • Follow up on leads, proposals, and negotiations to close business opportunities.
  • Support the achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain an updated sales pipeline and report business development activities to management.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including operations, technical, production, finance, and logistics to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities in the AVL and events industry.
  • Attend client meetings, site visits, networking events, and industry exhibitions when required.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and support repeat business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Events Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in sales or business development.
  • Experience in AVL, AV production, lighting, events, exhibitions, or technical solutions is preferred.
  • Good understanding of audio, visual, lighting, LED screens, staging, rigging, and event technology is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to prepare proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  • Target-driven with strong follow-up and closing skills.
  • Good knowledge of the UAE/GCC events, corporate, hospitality, and venue market.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple client requirements.
  • UAE driving license is preferred.
